Book Report Presentations

**This is the informational letter that was sent home in your child's reading folder on Monday. **

Our students have been learning how to use a variety of comprehension strategies to improve their reading and listening comprehension.  As a fun and educational way to demonstrate their understanding, we will be presenting book reports on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.  Students will be responsible for choosing and reading a favorite book on their reading level. Students will need to bring their book to school on or before Friday, October 19.  (Please make sure your child has read the book!)We will complete our book reports in class.  Students will receive a grade for correctly completing the Book Report form and a participation grade for presenting their Book Report. 

Students are allowed and encouraged to dress up as their favorite character from their story on the day of our Book Report Presentations during READING CLASS ONLY. However, please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately according to the Holly Hill Dress Code in your handbook.
